Dr. Mohamed Maait, Minister of Finance, issued decision No. 347 of 2023 to amend some provisions of the executive regulations of the Customs Law; in a way that contributes to strengthening governance and simplifying procedures to reduce customs clearance time, in a manner consistent with efforts to make Egypt a regional center for transit trade, strengthen the national path to stimulate exports, and facilitate the movement of internal and external trade, in order to support the structure of the Egyptian economy.
