Supporting and stimulating the export sector

The exporters and producers support unit in the Customs Authority completes serious and effective communication with the export councils to overcome the obstacles facing them with customs sites and ports.

A cooperation protocol was signed between the Egyptian Customs Authority, headed by Mr. El-Shahat Ghatouri, commissionier of the Authority, and the Export Council for medical Industries, headed by Dr. Maged George. The protocol included working to solve exporters’ problems, as well as providing technical support and training to members of the Export Council, in addition to facilitating customs procedures for companies that are members of the Council to benefit from the services provided by the Customs Authority, including companies joining the Authorized Economic Operator Program.
