Prime Minister follows up on the work of the 'ACI' system.

Madbouly directs the formation of a committee to review the situation of cars that entered the country for 'disabled people' and benefited others and take deterrent legal measures

Prime Minister: The government aims to support people of disability and provide them with appropriate services, but for others to profit from the provided and available features to them, which is not allowed. 

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, held a meeting today; to follow the work of the 'ACI' system , in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Kajuk, Minister of Finance, Engineer/ Hassan Al -Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Mr./ El -Shahat Ghatouri, Commissionier of the Egyptian Customs Authority, and Dr. Mona Nasser, Assistant Minister of Finance for Follow -up and Administration Customs Authority Development Projects Affairs , Dr. Amani Al -Wassal, Head of the Agreements and Foreign Trade Sector, Executive Director of the Export Development Fund, and Mr. Ahmed Al -Asqalani, Head of the Central Directoritate for Foreign Trade. 

Counselor Mohamed Al -Homsani, the spokesperson for the Presidency of the Cabinet, stated that during the meeting an analysis of the various values ​​and size of the goods registered on the "ACi" system, during the period from October 1, 2021 to July 31, 2024, was reviewed, in addition to the values ​​of the accumulated and released goods during the period from 1 to 31 July, and the classifications for these goods, whether strategic from them, or other industrial supplies, food commodities, spare parts, and other cargo.

Counselor Mohamed Al -Homsani added: The meeting dealt with a review of a number of measures that were taken to import cars for people with disability, within the framework of the application of the " ACI" system, in a way that contributes to the arrival of support for its entitlements.
In this context, the official spokesperson pointed to the direction of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, during the meeting, by emphasizing the importance of examining the various files of cars of disabled people, and taking the necessary legal measures with any person who benefited from these cars, except for people with disability, as the Prime Minister noted: 'This work is a profit from commodities exempt from dues. '

During the meeting, the Prime Minister also directed the formation of a central committee within each governorate that includes representatives of each of the: the Finance Ministry  "the Customs Authority", the interior, social solidarity, and administrative control, so that this committee undertakes reviewing the position of the various cars that entered the country in the recent period in favor of disabled people, and do they really benefit from them, or have they been sold to other citizens, stressing that deterrent measures will be taken against those who are profitable from these cars, and they pay the entire state dues, and fines for everyone who has benefited from these cars unlawfully.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that the government aims to support people with disabilityand provide appropriate services to them, saying: 'They really deserve ... either to win other features available to them, which is not allowed.'
