Egyptian customs enhances their cooperation with the export sector to support Egyptian exports
In support and motivation of the export sector, the Exporters and Producers Support Unit in the Customs Authority continues serious and effective communication with export councils to overcome the obstacles facing exporters in customs sites and ports.
In this context, Mr. Al -Shahat Gutouri, Head of the Customs Authority, signed a cooperation protocol between the Exporters and Producers Support Unit in the Authority and the Export Council for leather and leather products, headed by Mr. Eng./ Mahmoud Sarraj.
This protocol aims to enhance cooperation between the Customs Authority and the Export Council of Leather and leather products in the areas of:
● Solve the problems of exporters.
● Providing technical support and training to the members of the Export Council.
● Facilitating customs procedures for companies members of the Council.
● Helping them to take advantage of the services provided by the Customs Authority, including companies joining the authorized economic operator program.
This protocol is part of the continuous efforts of the Customs Authority to support the export sector, believing in its importance in achieving economic development and increasing Egyptian exports.
