Today, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, continued the position of the movement of goods and shipping in Egyptian ports, as well as the advanced Cargo System (ACI), in a meeting attended by Dr. Mohamed Moait, Minister of Finance, Mr./ Mohamed Abu Musa, Assistant Governor of the Central Bank, and Mr./ Essam Omar, Undersecretary of the Governor of the Central Bank, Mrs. Mona Nasser, Assistant Minister of Finance, Mrs./ Doaa Salima, Head of the Industry Update Center, Mr. Al -Shahat Al -Ghatouri, Head of the Customs Authority, and Mr. Ahmed Al -Asqalani, Head of the Central Administration for Foreign Trade.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, affirmed that in light of the increase in dollar resources in recent days, whether from the Ras Al -Hikma deal, or others, there are presidential directives at the speed of immediate release of goods in various ports, provided that coordination is carried out with the central bank and the concerned ministries for the speed of release, especially for food commodities, medicines, fodder, and production requirements, which will contribute to the balance and decline in prices.

The Prime Minister said: "What is required is that the procedures be completed as soon as possible, and the release of these goods sooner, and we will follow up on this file throughout the day, and in various ports."

 

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly added that the state is continuing its reform measures, so we have targeted targets related to the support of the industrial sector; In order to increase export, as well as the sectors of agriculture, tourism and communications, stressing that all of these sectors fall within the state’s structural reform plan.

During the meeting, the position of the commodities in the ports was reviewed, according to the analysis of the registered goods numbers with the (ACI) system until yesterday, as well as their classifications, and the Central Bank officials, and the Ministry of Finance, Trade and Industry were compatible with the speed of completing the procedures and immediate release of the goods.
