Egyptian Customs participates in the activities of the World Customs Organization Policy Committee.

The Egyptian Customs Authority, headed by Mr. Al-Shahat Ghatwary - Commissionerof the Authority, will participate in the meetings of the Policy Committee of the World Customs Organization, which will be held from 4 to 7 December 2023 in Italy, during which the reports of the implementation of the strategic plan and the work plans of the World Customs Organization will be discussed for: 

'Fragile borders, diversity and gender equality, passenger control, environmental customs scan, exploratory study on the possible strategic review of the Harmonized System' .

The following topics are also planned to be discussed at this meeting: -'WCO Data Strategy, E-commerce, Updating the Organization's Organizational Structure, Election Analysis and Appointment of Organization Directors'
