A workshop on Intellectual Property Rights Protection:
Egyptian customs always seek to develop customs performance in various customs sectors, by increasing knowledge and spreading it widely in all customs issues.
In this context, and under the theme of customs cooperation with its current and new partners to achieve the integration launched by the World Customs Organization for the year 2024, the directives of Mr. El -Shahat Gutouri, Head of the Customs Authority, to enhance cooperation with its partners from the commercial community, especially in the field of intellectual property rights protection
On Tuesday and Wednesday, corresponding to 27-28 February 2024, two workshops in Cairo and Alexandria were held on the protection of intellectual property rights and trademarks in coordination between the Egyptian Customs Authority represented in the Intellectual Property Administration and the ATB intellectual property company, the legal representative of many international brands and in the presence of a large presence of representatives of the Egyptian Customs Authority and the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the Consumer Protection Agency.
