Egyptian Customs celebrates International Intellectual Property Day "Building our common future with innovation and creativity'.
The Egyptian Customs Authority celebrated the International Intellectual Property Day, under the slogan of intellectual Property and the goals of sustainable development: building our common future with innovation and creativity
This comes within the framework of the commitment of the Egyptian Customs Authority to implement the Egyptian Customs Law No. 207 of 2020 and its executive regulation, which provides for the protection of intellectual property rights and prevent the entry of counterfeit or adulterated goods into the country.
On this occasion, the Egyptian Customs Authority emphasizes its continued cooperation with all partners concerned to protect intellectual property rights and enhance innovation and creativity in Egypt.
The Egyptian customs aims through this celebration to:
• Awareness the owners of the intellectual rights with the importance of registering and protecting their rights.
• Stressing the role of customs in combating infringement of intellectual property rights.
• Enhancing cooperation with various partners, including: intellectual rights, private sector, civil society organizations, and customs in other countries.
• Working to create a safe and stable environment.
