Extending the reception of Egyptians' remittances abroad to import cars for those who were issued a payment order on the electronic platform.
In light of the end of the work of the law of reporting some facilities for Egyptians residing abroad, related to importing cars from abroad, the cabinet agreed to the request of the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptians Affairs abroad, to allow receiving transfers from abroad for a month from the date of the expiry of the aforementioned law.
This step comes with a goal:
• Completing the acceptance of the transfers received for those who expressed the seriousness in applying for the second stage of the initiative, and he was issued a payment order on the electronic platform before the end of the initiative ending on 29/4/2024
• Like the approach adopted by the cabinet upon the end of the first stage of the initiative to import Egyptian cars abroad.
• Due to the presence of many outstanding and late transfers, and a number of other cases that need alternative mechanisms, due to the presence of difficulties in completing the transfer of the cash amount from abroad before the end of the initiative, as a result of various reasons outside their will despite their seriousness.
