Nearly 28 million pounds are the proceeds from the sale of left-cars and goods at Port Said and Damietta customs.

In implementation of the presidential mandate to dispose of stagnant and left-out goods in all Egyptian ports, Customs is disposing of stagnant and left-out goods inside the yards in Egyptian ports. In this regard, the public auction activities were launched on Wednesday, August 29, 2023, to sell a number of lots of cars and left-out goods to Port Said and Damietta Customs, which included the cars that were Daewoo, Peugeot, Opel, Kozaki, Volkswagen, BMW, Ford, Chevrolet, and Mitsubishi were on sale, in addition to many different brands, models, and types.
  
The bidding also included the sale of car motors, empty cardboard boxes, liquid oils, car spare parts, clothes, computer equipment and accessories, medical devices and supplies, shoes, rubber, fabrics, plastics, ornamental and decor supplies, air conditioners, screens, cameras, and electrical appliances.
 
The cars that the auction session was held to sell were from customs authority concessions and confiscations imported from abroad, and the sale was carried out in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 182 of 2018 regarding the organization of contracts concluded by public authorities and its executive regulations issued by Resolution No. 692 of 2019 and in accordance with the arrangement contained in the conditions brochoure and the purchase of the auction brochoure as a condition for entering the auction. Each lot is sold separately and without commission, and in the event that any lot of cars is not awarded to the participant in the auction, the insurance will be refunded. The insurance is also deducted from the price of the car in the event that the lot is awarded to the participant.
 
First: Port Said Customs left-out lots, which were as follows:
 ● Cars: 61 cars were sold for 4,195,500 pounds
 ● Motorcycles: 40 motorcycles were sold for 300,000 pounds
 Goods: 35 lots of goods were sold for an amount of 21,819,800 pounds.
 The total proceeds from the sale of lots sold by Port Said Customs are 26,315,300 pounds.
 ■ Second: Lots left-out by Damietta Customs.
 The only goods were the sale of 3 lots for an amount of 1500,100 pounds,
 so the proceeds of the public auction for the sale of left-out lots to Port Said and Damietta Customs are 27 million 815 thousand and 400 pounds.
