Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, continued the executive position of the customs release of goods in the ports and the application of the advanced shipping system, in a periodic meeting attended today; Dr. Mohamed Moait, Minister of Finance, Dr. Mona Nasser, Assistant Minister of Finance for Follow -up and Management of Customs Authority Development Projects, and Mr. Al -Shahat Al -Ghatouri, Head of the Egyptian Customs Authority.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister affirmed the keenness to follow up the procedures for release goods in Egyptian ports, in the field or through the meetings periodically, in a manner that ensures the enhancement of the volume of the supply of goods in the markets, and the provision of production inputs.

Counselor Mohamed Al -Homsani, the official speaker for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, stated that the meeting reviewed the values ​​of the registered, accredited and released goods in the customs ports until June 2, 2024; Including petroleum materials, strategic varieties, such as: feed additions, medicines, rice, fish, fertilizers, serums and vaccines, seeds and agricultural seeds, corn, butter, oil, beans, lentils, wheat, chemicals for drugs, meat, tea, beans Soy, powder milk, baby milk, medical supplies, cornea, and live poultry.
Counselor Mohamed Al -Homsani pointed out that the position of following up the decisions regarding the executive position of the pre -registration system was also reviewed, as the system of the system was emphasized in a way that does not allow any goods to enter the ports unless they are registered on the Advanced Cargo system (ACI), and no exceptions are allowed Outside the system, while continuing to activate the work of the neglected system according to what was agreed upon, with the speed of work to release goods from the food commodities in the 'negligence system' before the expiration period of its validity, in addition to coordination with the authorities
