Dr. Mohamed Moait, Minister of Finance, stressed that, in implementation of the presidential directives to work on the speed of the immediate release of commodities and goods in various ports, the last ten days of the first of this March witnessed the increasing rates of release of basic commodities and production supplies directly supporting the industry to reach the total value of the released goods during this period of 1.7 billion dollars, in a way that is consistent with the government's increase in the volume of the commodity supply in the markets, in a way that helps in achieving balance in prices, within the framework of the state's keenness to continue to work to reduce the burdens of living for citizens as much as possible. 

Al -Shahat Gutouri, head of the Customs Authority, said that the newly created electronic systems help us to accelerate the pace of customs release of commodities and goods and their access to local markets, and production units, pointing out that we are working all the day at customs ports with the various concerned authorities, to ensure the speedy completion of immediate release procedures for goods.
