During his tour today in the port of Alexandria, to follow up the implementation of presidential directives quickly, the immediate release of goods and goods in various ports, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and his companions, inspected a group of containers in the port, and they are currently being released, which includes many commodities and goods. 

Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, at the beginning of his tour, stressed that today's visit to Alexandria Port comes within the framework of following up the implementation of President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, President of the Republic, to work on the speed of immediate release of goods and goods in various ports, in a way that contributes to increasing the volume of commodity supply in the markets, on towards helping to balance and decline in prices during the coming period; this comes within the framework of the state’s keenness to reduce the burdens of living for citizens.

Madbouly pointed out the coordination and cooperation between the various state agencies to facilitate the various measures necessary to immediately release commodities and goods, and in a way that enables rapid intervention to overcome any obstacles, pointing out that the newly created electronic customs systems help accelerate the pace of customs release of commodities and goods and the speed of their entry into the local markets and production units.
Mr. Al -Shahat Al -Ghaturi, head of the Customs Authority, said during the Prime Minister’s tour throughout the port of Alexandria that the released goods exceeded 12 billion dollars in the period from the first of last January until now, pointing out that the past few days witnessed after increasing the dollar  flows which have a remarkable growth in the customs release rates for goods according to the strategic priorities decided by the state, stressing that the customs release rates for goods and production requirements will increase in the coming days in coordination with the banking sector.

During his speech, the head of the Customs Authority noted the executive position of the merchandise movement in the port of Alexandria and other ports, as well as the pre -registration system for shipments 'ACI', pointing to the efforts made by customs officials and representatives of the various relevant authorities; including the General Authority for Export and Import Control, the National Food Safety Authority, agricultural quarantine , health quarantine and other inspection authorities, at customs ports all the day to ensure the speedy end of the immediate release of goods, while granting priority to basic, food, medicine, feed, and supplies Production, which directly supports the industrial sector, in a manner that was compatible with the banking sector, in light of the dollar flows in recent days, whether from the 'Ras Al -Hikma' deal or increasing export from the agricultural, tourism and communications sectors, and others.
