Participation in international exhibitions established abroad

In line with the goals of the agreement to encourage trade exchange between different countries and to open new commercial markets in the international field, which come with benefits for trade between those countries and the Arab Republic of Egypt, so, the state is participating in many external exhibitions in various countries of the world through the General Egyptian Authority of exhibitions and international conferences. Export Development Authority - and other competent government agencies according to the following steps:  

The Authority announces the exhibition and the name of the country in which it will be held.

Many producing companies and factories submit requests to the Authority to participate in these exhibitions and reserve their spaces.

The Authority collects the goods from the stakeholders in its own storages.

A committee is formed to select the exhibits from the Exhibitions Authority, markets, customs, and trade and industry to display the exported exhibits according to Ministerial Decree No. 406/2002 before export to determine the suitability of the items and the quality of the appropriate packaging for display.

In the event that the exhibits selection committee approves the export, a customs declaration issued by the Exhibitions and international Markets authority or the stakeholder will be opened .. attached with the following:

invoices for all stakeholders participating in the exhibition.

The ministerial decree on the establishment of the exhibition or a letter from the authority indicates that the ministerial decree is being issued.

The approval of the exhibits selection committee on the travel of the exhibition or a letter from the authority indicates the approval of the committee.

The customs committee is formed from a movement and tariff to complete the intended disclosure of the consignment and the fulfillment of the displays if any, such as (antiquities - stamp and scales - food safety body). 

The form (126 k.m) is issued with the exported consignment attached with it an authorized photocopes of the exported invoices. 

The consignment by the representative of your customs is sent to the Customs of the final export with a compass and permission to release and an authorized image of invoices.

Return of previously exported local goods 

After the end of exhibitions in foreign markets, the goods are returned to the various ports of the Republic and released in accordance with the following: The authority or other competent government agency or the stakeholder shall submit a transit customs declaration attached to it.

Invoices for items returned + packing slips.

Approval of the Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions to withdraw the goods from the posts for exhibitions of the Exhibitions Authority only or the other competent government agency or the stakeholder in the case of other organizing companies.

The form (126 K.m).

The goods are transfered to exhibitions customs by transit system.

A committee is formed from the customs of exhibitions (movement and tariff) to detect and identify matching on the form (126 km) previously issued to show what has been sold in foreign markets and then release the remaining parts returned from abroad and previously exported. 

A letter is issued to the Value Added Tax Authority upon the request of the stakeholder regarding the parts that were sold abroad and the name of the seller (whether the factory, the producing company or the exhibition participant) with a notification that the certificate is in the name of the General Authority for Exhibitions Affairs and not in the name of the seller.
