Agreements Circular No. 45 of 2023

The circular issued on the extent of the possibility of accepting the declaration of the written origin in the photocopy of the bill which was provided as a document to prove the origin of the implementation of the Egyptian -European Participation Agreement.
It includes that, according to the instructions of the Conventions Sector at the Ministry of Trade and Industry in this regard, Article (22) of the Euro-Mediterranean rules of origin protocol has clearly stipulated the requirements for issuing an origin declaration or the Euro-Med origin declaration.., it is not required that the document be an original or a photocopy, and the elements of the declaration of origin are (the text, the declaration number, and the live signature of the supplier), therefore, there is nothing preventing the acceptance of the declaration of origin contained in the form of an invoice and stamped with the live signature of the supplier, taking into account the other provisions of the Euro-Mediterranean rules of origin Protocol.
