After this morning he visited the factory of the "Misr Industrial Silk and Polyester" fibers in the city of Kafr El -Dawar in Beheira Governorate, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, went to the port of Alexandria; To inspect the multi-purpose 'tahya masr' station on the sidewalks 55-62, accompanied by Dr. Ali Al-Moselhi, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, the team, Engineer/ Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, Mr./ El-Sayed Al-Qusayr, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and Mr. Al-Shahat Al-Ghaturi, commissioner of Egyptian Customs Authority. 

The Prime Minister and his companions were received by Mr. Al -Shahat Gutouri, commissioner of the Egyptian Customs Authority, Major General Nihad Shaheen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority of Alexandria Port, and Major General/ Abdel Qader Darwish, Chairman of the Egyptian Group for Multi -purpose stations, and Mr./ Yan Magarian, French CEO of the station.
After his arrival at the tahya masr station, the Prime Minister stressed that this visit comes within the framework of implementing the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al -Sisi, President of the Republic, by continuing to work to develop all Egyptian ports to achieve the greatest objective by making Egypt a center for global trade and logistics, pointing to the main role of the ports development process In strengthening Egyptian leadership as an international center for commercial exchange and providing logistical services, in order to achieve the optimal benefit from Egypt's geographical location, and in an integration and supports the state's development plan to create a comprehensive renaissance in Egypt.

While the Minister of Transport stressed that within the directives of His Excellency the President of the state that the importance of benefiting from Egypt's unique geographical location on Bahrain Red and Mediterranean and the presence of the most important international navigation corridor in it, the Suez Canal, the Ministry of Transport in its role in implementing a set of strategic goals that includes several axes, the first axis of which was planning to implement the number of 7 integrated international logistical corridors to connect production areas (industrial - agricultural - minimum - service) in seaports with fast and safe means of transportation, passing through dry ports and integrated logistical areas, and among the most important of these corridors related to the port of Alexandria, the Sokhna Corridor - Alexandria and Cairo - Alexandria.

The Minister of Transport indicated that a number of other projects are being implemented in the Great Port of Alexandria, the most important of which is the project to establish a multi -purpose station on the pavement of 100 in Dekheila Port, which aims to increase the capacity of containers for containers and goods, by establishing a pavement with a length of 1680 m with an area of ​​1.25 million square meters and depth 18 Meters, explaining that the contract for construction of the superstructure was signed, managing, operating, exploiting, maintaining and re-delivery of the container terminal at pavement of 100 between the Alexandria Port Authority and the Hutchison Global Alliance / MSC, where the project provides more than 2,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, in addition to the project to establish a clean dry casting terminal in Dekheila Port, which aims to establish a pavement with a length of 1150 meters, a depth of 16 to 19 meters and a back of 300 thousand m2.

The minister also touched on the project to establish breakwaters of the Great Port of Alexandria, explaining that the barriers of the Great Port of Alexandria are being implemented with lengths of about 7,000 meters, in addition to the project to establish a logistics area on 273 acres, whose backfilling work has begun, which aims to establish an integrated logistics zone that includes storage spaces, value-added industries, and river ports to serve Alexandria Port. 

After that, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly toured the station, consuming his tour by visiting the administration and control building; Where the Minister of Transport reviewed what the project company achieved after a year of the experimental operation of the station; In this regard, the minister pointed out that the trading rate exceeded 230 thousand containers, after receiving approximately 300 ships on the pavements of the station, contracting with 6 global navigation lines, and the station to overcome the biggest challenges, which is the accumulation of goods at the port, by applying the ACI for shipments, whichit is one of the most important features that the station is unique to others; He explained that this matter contributed to reducing the time of the container's stay, as the time of the shipment inside the station became no more than 25 minutes, which is a record number that no station has reached before in Egypt and in the Mediterranean area, which in turn led to an increase in trading volumes and an increase Port revenues.

For his part, Major General / Abdel Qader Darwish, Chairman of the Egyptian Group for Multipurpose Terminals, indicated that work is also underway to establish a container shipping station by trains (Railway container station) - (RCS) to connect the station to the national network of Egypt railways to transport containers and goods to dry ports from the 6th of October dry port, and it is expected to start operating the container shipping station by trains by the middle of this year.

 
Then the Prime Minister and his companions went to the main operating room of the station, where they listened to an explanation from the Executive Director of the shipping, discharge, circulation and completion work in the square, as well as entering and exiting the trucks loaded with containers, and places where they were placed inside the station, through control screens.
The Prime Minister and his companions also made an inspection tour of the station's pavemets; to follow up the shipping and discharge operations on the pavement of the station using the giant sidewalk cranes (STS), and the transfer of containers to the squares and its completion, as well as the places of the refrigerated containers and the transit container areas, then the customs inspectionarea, where Dr. Mustafa Madbouly continued the screening work for shipments for production supplies, foodstuffs, main commodities and medicines and facilitating their release process.
