Cairo International Airport Customs issued 75 customs seizure reports during the month of August
 
In a historical achievement, the customs authorities at Cairo International Airport, headed by Dr. Majid Mousa, head of the central directoritate, succeeded in issuing 75 customs seizure reports during the past month of August against foreign and Egyptian passengers, continuing and increasing the unprecedented achievements achieved by the officials of the central directoritate, and the seizures were drugs of all kinds (cannabis and various packages containing the drug marijuana, strips, medicines containing tablets and capsules for drugs listed in the drug schedules, and the drug Solpadeine, which is also listed in the drug schedules), various white weapons (daggers, knives, and swords), detonators, deterrents, fists, and iron sticks, as well as live firearm bullets, binoculars mounted on firearms, and the seized goods of various types (phones, smart and regular wrist watches, supplies, catheters, medical devices, and medical supplies). Teeth, cosmetics, various spare parts, mobile phone and play station supplies, wigs, weight loss medications and other expensive items, electronic hookah supplies, Microsoft CDs, gold jewelry and diamonds.
 
It is worth noting that 51 customs seizure reports were issued last July, bringing the total number of seizure reports issued by the officials of the Central Directoritate of Cairo International Airport Customs, headed by Dr. Majed Moussa, to 126 seizure reports during the past months of July and August.
 
These achievements come in light of the implementation of the laws in a sophisticated manner, performance and treatment of passengers, citizens and foreigners, despite the diversity and development of concealment and fraud methods by passengers attempting to smuggle and violating the laws, and this was also achieved with great and distinguished efforts by all departments in the Central Administration, whether those in charge of inspection in cooperation and harmony with the X-ray inspection departments headed by Dr. Saad Salem, Head of the Central Directoritate for Compliance Technology, the Customs Security Department, and the morning shifts departments, most notably the legal, technical and financial affairs, the deposit and seizures departments, and with continuous follow-up from Mr.El-Shahat Ghatwary, Commissioner  of the Customs Authority, and support and assistance from Mr. Ahmed Kajouk Minister of Finance.
